QR code stickers turn any surface into a link: a shop window, a product box, a table, a laptop, a delivery van. This page opens the editor with a sticker-ready design — a “Scan me” label and a border, so people know what to do and the code stands out from the surface. Pick another starting style below, set your link, and download an SVG or high-resolution PNG to send to your printer or sticker shop. If the link might change later, make it a dynamic QR code with a free account, so you never have to reprint the stickers.
- Sticker-ready styles: “Scan me”, Wi-Fi and Menu labels, borders
- Your colors, gradients and logo
- SVG and PNG up to 3,200 px for sticker printing
- Dynamic QR option (free account): change the link after printing
- Free, no signup, no watermark
QR code sticker sizes
For stickers people scan up close — on products, laptops, receipts — make the code itself at least 2.5 cm (1 in) wide, plus the blank margin around it. On a counter or table, 5 cm (2 in) is comfortable. On windows, doors and walls, scale with distance: roughly one-tenth of how far away people stand, so 10 cm for 1 m and 30 cm for 3 m. When in doubt, go bigger.
Materials and finishes that scan
Matte vinyl is the safest choice: it's waterproof, lasts outdoors, and doesn't reflect light into the camera. Paper stickers are fine indoors. Avoid glitter, holographic and very glossy finishes behind the code — reflections can stop phones from reading it. For clear stickers, print a solid white layer behind the code so it doesn't disappear against the surface.
Where to print QR code stickers
Any online sticker or label printer, a local print shop, or an office label printer works — send the SVG (vector) or a PNG of at least 1,200 px for stickers up to about 10 cm. Ask for a proof and scan it before the full run. Capy QR's own sticker printing is coming soon.
Use a dynamic QR code so you never reprint
Most stickers live for years, but links change: a new menu, a moved page, a seasonal offer. A regular QR code locks in the link you print. A dynamic QR code points at a short redirect you can change anytime — and you can see how many people scanned each batch. Capy QR includes 3 dynamic codes on a free account.
Ideas for QR code stickers
Wi-Fi stickers for cafés and rentals, “leave us a review” stickers by the till, product labels that open manuals or reorder pages, asset tags for equipment, event stickers that open a schedule, packaging stickers for unboxing videos, and contact stickers on laptops and instrument cases.
How it works
- 1
Add your link and pick a sticker style
Paste the URL (or switch to Wi-Fi, menu, contact card and more), then choose a starting style above — a label tells people what scanning does.
- 2
Customize and choose the size
Set your colors or logo. Plan the printed code at 2.5 cm (1 in) or larger for close-up stickers, and bigger for windows and walls.
- 3
Download and print a proof
Export SVG (best for printers) or a high-resolution PNG, print one sticker, and scan it with two phones before ordering the full run.
