Payment QR codes link to a payment provider's request URL. PayPal.me, Venmo, Cash App's $cashtag, and Revolut all support per-handle URLs that the QR encodes directly. Scanning opens the right app to a payment screen pre-filled with your handle and (optionally) the amount. Useful for tip jars, freelance invoicing on the go, garage-sale pricing, and pop-up storefronts.

How it works

  1. 1

Pick provider and enter your handle

Choose PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or Revolut and enter your handle (the part after the @ or $). Add an amount if you want a fixed price.

  2. 2

    Brand it

Pick a color that fits your business, drop in your logo, and add a frame label like 'Tips' or 'Pay here'.

  3. 3

Download in the format you need

Export as PNG, JPEG, SVG, or PDF at up to 3,200 pixels. No signup, no watermark, no limit on downloads.

Frequently asked questions

Should I set a fixed amount?
For tip jars: no — let the customer pick. For sales of fixed-price items: yes — pre-filling avoids miscounted amounts. For invoicing: yes, because the amount is contractual.
Does the customer need the app installed?
For PayPal and Revolut, web fallbacks exist — the customer can pay through the browser. For Venmo and Cash App, the customer typically needs the app on their phone.
Are there fees?
Each provider's normal fees apply — Capy QR doesn't add any. PayPal.me and Cash App charge fees on commercial flows; Venmo's standard P2P is fee-free for personal use.
Is the payment data secure?
Yes. The QR contains only your public handle and (optionally) the amount — no account numbers, no card numbers, no secrets. The actual payment happens inside the provider's app.
Can I track payments per QR?
Not directly with a static QR. Each provider's app shows incoming payments; if you need per-source attribution, use distinct QRs (one per location) and reconcile by handle if your provider supports sub-accounts.
